Manipur Institute of Open Schooling(MIOS) is a recognized institute by Govt. of Manipur registered under society Registration Act Section 8(1)(2)(3) and 9(1)(2) of the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989 (Manipur Act 1 of 1990), Govt. of Manipur bearing Registration No. 59/M/SR/2003. MIOS is focusing to uplift the various vocational education in the state Manipur. The institute is targeting the dropout category of people to increase the employability. The main aim of the institute is skilling the unskilled people. This may help in reducing the burden of unemployability in the state.
